It can run from 3V or 5V logic and power, and each GPIO pin can drive up to 25mA. You can also use two interrupt pins to monitor changes on the inputs without polling the I2C bus. You can solder the headers to the board and plug it into a breadboard, or use jumper wires to connect it to your project.
