Power Supply Repair Kit For The LG RZ37LZ55 The 6709900002A power supply fitted to the LG RZ37LZ55 does have some reliability issues. Failure of this power supply is common with the resulting symptom that the set is completely dead or stuck in standby. The power supply often fails at switch on and can be accompanied by an all mighty bang. The bang is due to the switching device IC904 failing. This device is an STR-T2268 and you may find that part of it has blown off. The reason for failure is defective SMD ceramic capacitors. After replacement of three SMD ceramic capacitors, a zener diode, an SMD resistor a fuse and the afore mentioned STR-T2268 full working order will be restored.
