It is composed of seven pairs of NPN Darlington tubes. The collector current of a single Darlington pair is 500 mA. Darlington tubes can withstand more current in parallel. Each pair of Darlington tubes of ULN2003 has a 2.7K Ω series resistor, which can be directly connected with TTL or 5V CMOS devices.
